ELBOW LOSE GEAR OVER THE ATLANTIC
British rockers ELBOW were left in a tight spot before a gig in Los Angeles on Thursday (22Jul09), after the group's gear was lost on the flight over from the U.K.
The group jetted from England to perform at L.A.'s Wiltern Theatre for a sold-out performance.
Panic ensued upon their arrival, after they were told all of their sound equipment and instruments were lost over the Atlantic.
But the bandmembers didn't let a lack of gear stand in their way, and wowed revellers at the gig after borrowing equipment from the venue.
Frontman Guy Garvey told fans, "It's lovely to be here, but we're a bit jetlagged because none of our gear arrived. It's somewhere over the Atlantic."
