ELBOW AUDITIONING FOR A CHOIR

British rockers ELBOW are holding open auditions to find a choir to join them on stage for a performance this summer (08).
The band are seeking 40 talented "quick learners who can hold harmonies" to appear with them before an audience of more than 2,500 at the Meltdown festival at London's Southbank Centre on 16 June (08).
Elbow frontman Guy Garvey says, "Three of us in the band are of Welsh descent so I suppose this has been a long time coming."
The all-male choir will be trained and directed by opera star Mary King.
