EDWARDS BLASTS CLOONEY'S 'FOOLISH' E.R. SNUB
E.R. star ANTHONY EDWARDS has blasted former castmate GEORGE CLOONEY for snubbing the chance to appear in the show's last season.
Despite repeated rumours he will join a collection of the show's past and present cast, including Edwards and Noah Wyle, when the show bows out later this year (08), Clooney's representative insists, "He is on record as saying he is not coming back. It is something he has already done."
But Edwards - who played Dr. Mark Greene in the show for eight years - is hoping the star will change his mind.
He tells Us Weekly magazine, "He'd be a fool not to do it."
Dr. Greene died of a brain tumour during season eight. He will appear in flashback scenes in the 15th and final season.
