EASTENDERS ACTOR SUSPENDED

Producers of EastEnders have decided to suspend actor Robert Kazinsky from the soap after he sent a model obscene text messages and photographs.

Reports emerged in the Sunday People that Kazinsky, who plays Sean Slater in the show, sent the photographs after he met the model online.

He will continue to film until early February to prevent disruption to story lines but will then be banned from the soap for two months.

A spokesman for the BBC1 show said: "Robert Kazinsky would like to apologise for any offence caused to EastEnders' viewers and for bringing the show into disrepute."

It is not the first time that an EastEnders actor has come under the firing line for inappropriate behaviour.

Actor Leslie Grantham made his comeback as Dirty Den but was then written out of the soap in 2005 after he exposed himself on a webcam in his dressing room.

He was forced to apologise to fellow cast members after he made a number of insulting comments about them.
