EARLY SUSAN BOYLE RECORDING INTERNET HIT
Britain's Got Talent star Susan Boyle recorded an early version of Cry Me a River, it has emerged.
The ballad was included on the Music for a Millennium Celebration disc in 1999, with just 1,000 copies made by Whitburn Community Council.
So far, around 20,000 have viewed the recording on YouTube.
Ms Boyle has made headlines around the world after her rendition of I Dreamed A Dream from Les Miserables on Britain's Got Talent.
Her voice surprised judges on the show, and propelled the 47-year-old to instant stardom.
Even Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore have praised the amateur singer, with Kutcher saying: "This just made my night." Moore replied: "You saw it made me teary!"
Betting website Paddy Power gives the unemployed church volunteer odds of 3-1 to win the show, and 500-1 to date Mel Gibson in 2009.
But judge Simon Cowell warned on GMTV: "There are some acts that you haven't seen yet, it's not quite the one horse race you are going to think this is."
