DYLAN SHOW CANCELLED

BOB DYLAN has been forced to cancel a concert in the U.S. because of an extreme heatwave.
The Blowin' In The Wind hitmaker was due to perform with John Mellencamp and Willie Nelson in Glendale, Arizona on Tuesday (11Aug09).
But the show has been called off due to the soaring heatwave currently sweeping western states, with temperatures expected to peak at 110 degrees Fahrenheit (43 degrees Celsius).
A statement on Dylan's website states, "While we understand that this will cause an inconvenience to those who purchased tickets and were looking forward to the show, the potential for serious heat-related injury resulting from extended exposure in these conditions brought us to this difficult decision."
Ticket holders have been offered refunds.
