DYLAN JOINS THE BEASTIE BOYS

The BEASTIE BOYS have added BOB DYLAN to their ranks - the folk rock legend will make a surprise appearance on the trio's new album.
Beastie Boys Ad-Rock and Mike D were stunned to hear their musical idol discussing their music on a satellite radio show he hosts, and they decided to sample Dylan's enthusiastic words and use them on their next release, Hot Sauce Committee Pt 2.
Speaking to website DrownedinSound.com, Mike D, aka Mike Diamond, says, "Bob Dylan is one of the greatest songwriters of all time. When you think songwriter, you think of him, Gordon Lightfoot; there’s not many others.
"He played one of our songs and was talking about us; he’s a big fan. So we collaborated with that."
Hot Sauce Committee Pt 1. is due for release in September (09).
