DUVALL DEVASTATED BY COLLEGE MASSACRE

Movie veteran ROBERT DUVALL has been left devastated by Monday's (16Apr07) college massacre in Blacksburg, Virginia - because he has a home nearby and is a regular visitor to the campus. The Godfather star calls the tragedy, which left 33 people dead, "terrible". In a letter written to US news show Access Hollywood, the actor writes, "If it can happen here, it can happen anywhere. It was one of the most civil campuses I'd ever visited."
