DURST FINDS SOLACE IN BOOKS
LIMP BIZKIT frontman FRED DURST studies physics and philosophy to alleviate the symptoms of his obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
The singer has suffered from the anxiety-based condition for many years, but has found ways of controlling it - by focusing on his favourite subjects.
And Durst admits he has become obsessed with reading about physics.
He tells Kerrang! magazine, "I have extreme OCD, that's getting worse. Nobody knows my ticks or my OCD, it's very subliminal and subtle. But my mind is definitely trying to kill me.
"I found salvation in my books and reading about philosophy and for the last three years, mainly physics. I'm questing to be a physicist. I'm a little bit obsessed."
