DURITZ: 'I WAS GOING CRAZY'
COUNTING CROWS frontman ADAM DURITZ has revealed he has spent the past two years battling crippling depression. The Mr. Jones singer admits he has only recently had his disorder diagnosed, and it has answered a lot of questions about his strange behaviour. Duritz says, "I've been dealing with mental illness, but I didn't want to say anything for a long time. I went crazy. It was scary." But something good came out of his ordeal - it inspired him to write Counting Crows' new album Saturday Nights + Sunday Mornings. He adds, "The album is about a downward spiral, losing my mind and about trying to get it back."
