DURAN DURAN PULL GIG TO ALLOW RHODES TO MOURN

Eighties rockers DURAN DURAN were forced to cancel a concert in France on Wednesday (11Jun08) after keyboardist NICK RHODES learned of his father's sudden death.
The veteran stars were due to play in Nice, just one night after becoming the first band ever to play in France's famous Louvre Museum in Paris.
But the gig had to be pulled at the last minute.
In a statement, the group apologised for the cancellation, but hoped "that everyone will understand that only such tragic circumstances would keep them from a performance".
The British band is expected to make up for the scrapped show on their "next Continental run", but it will not be on their current tour due to scheduling conflicts.

That was a terrible comment to write of course they were mourning Nicks dads death, especially John from knowing Nicks dad when he was a child. I cant believe that someone could write such a horrible comment

Duran played the louvre show and the 2nd new york show after Roger Bates death. I have to question was duran morning Nicks fathers death, or the low number of less than 1500 tickets that were sold for the Nice show?
