DUNST UNDERSTANDS FRENCH BOOS
Actress KIRSTEN DUNST insists her new film MARIE ANTOINETTE was booed at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year (MAY06) because the audience was all French. The world premiere of the SOFIA COPPOLA costume drama at the French Riviera festival was badly received by critics and audiences alike. Dunst says, "I didn't take it to heart. "How would we (Americans) feel about the French doing a movie about GEORGE WASHINGTON with French actors?" The film opens in US cinemas later this month (20OCT06).
