DUNAWAY SIGNS UP FOR LOW BUDGET WELSH MOVIE

Two first-time filmmakers are delighted after Oscar winner FAYE DUNAWAY agreed to star in their Welsh-set movie for a fraction of her normal fee. Writer/director DAVID HOWARD and producer RIK HALL sent out hundreds of scripts for their novel ghost movie FLICK and were amazed when the BONNIE AND CLYDE actress called them personally to express her interest. Hall says, "We got the script to her and she loved it. "She called me up directly and said she'd love to do it, that it was a really original story." Dunaway will play a one-armed American detective in the film.
