DUFFY SLAMS DALLAS REMAKE

Former DALLAS heart-throb PATRICK DUFFY has blasted the forthcoming movie version of the 80s TV show as "crap". Duffy, who played BOBBY EWING in the hit show, was the centrepiece of the show's most memorable and far-fetched storyline, when he reappeared in the show despite dying in a car-crash the previous season - bosses simply wrote off Duffy's death as on-screen wife PAM EWING's 'dream'. But Duffy is not convinced the film will be a success, despite attracting big name stars such as JOHN TRAVOLTA, who will play oil tycoon J.R. EWING. He says, "I think they'll discover Dallas is better left how it was. I got a sneak peek at a script - and I was like, 'Wow! That's crap!'"
