Welsh singer DUFFY has denied she is at the centre of a feud with former THE JAM frontman PAUL WELLER - insisting they are "friends".
The Mercy hitmaker sparked rumours of ill feeling between the pair when she turned down the chance to work with Weller at this year's (08) Mojo magazine awards in London.
But the 24-year-old admits she has now bonded with the veteran rocker over their shared love of music.
She says, "We're friends. He's a really great bloke (guy). When things chill out we'll hang out a bit more, but we've had a few great moments and it's been nice to talk to him about music - he's really into it.
"Our paths are slightly similar. It's pretty cool really, although we are a generation apart."
