DUFF NAMED COLOMBIAN YOUTH AMBASSADOR
Singer/actress HILARY DUFF is continuing her efforts to be a role model for kids around the world - the American star has been named a youth ambassador in the Colombian capital of Bogota.
The 21-year-old budding philanthropist will be a guest of honour in the city next month (Aug09) when she'll receive the accolade from Mayor Samuel Moreno.
Duff's five-day trip will include visits to schools where she will give out backpacks filled with food through non-profit organisation Blessing for Backpacks.
Dates for the trip had yet to be determined as WENN went to press.
