DUCHOVNY THANKS FAMILY FOR SUPPORT THROUGH REHAB

DAVID DUCHOVNY used his red carpet appearance at the Golden Globe awards on Sunday (11Jan09) to thank his family for supporting him through his treatment for sex addiction.
The actor split from his wife actress Tea Leoni after 11 years of marriage last October (08) - just a week after checked out of a rehab clinic in Arizona.
The pair had been separated "for several months" before the rehab stint, but opted to keep the news private for the sake of their two kids, Madelaine, nine, and Kyd, six, according to a statement from their representatives released at the time.
And Duchovny made his gratitude to Leoni and his kids known as he talked to reporters at the glitzy Beverly Hills, California bash.
The star tells E! Online, "I'm thankful for so much. I'm just most thankful for my life and my family. My wife and my kids -- the simple things in life. My gratitude opens my heart every day. I feel blessed."
And he insists his time in rehab has helped him work through his problems.
He says, "You do change ... it's all about the actions. I hope the people close to me and my loved ones feel the change."
