DRAKE HOBBLES BACK ONSTAGE FOR TORONTO SHOW

Injured rapper DRAKE defied doctor's orders on Tuesday (04Aug09) by hobbling onstage in his native Toronto, Canada to perform alongside LIL WAYNE.
The rising star tore an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his knee early last month (Jul09) but pressed ahead with plans to hit the stage as part of Wayne's Young Money Presents America's Most Wanted Music Festival tour.
However, his performance in New Jersey last week (31Jul09) ended in disaster when Drake's knee gave way, causing him to collapse onstage.
He underwent surgery on Sunday (02Aug09) to repair damage to a second torn ligament and revealed on his Twitter.com blog that he was heading home to Toronto to recover.
But Drake couldn't resist putting in a surprise appearance for fans when the Young Money tour arrived in the city this week, taking to the stage with singer Trey Songz to perform his song Successful.
Supported by a stool, Drake told the crowd, "You know I could never let my city down", before limping offstage with the help of a cane.
