DOUGLAS SHOCKED BY ONE-MAN SHOW SUCCESS

Movie veteran KIRK DOUGLAS is shocked his four-performance one-man shows sold out within an hour.
The ageing star will hit the stage at his namesake theatre in Culver City, California over the next two weekends - and he cannot believe his 90-minute show, Before I Forget, has become such a hit.
He says, "I was shocked when the tickets went on sale the first day and they sold out the four performances."
And now Douglas regrets he won't be able to tour with the show, or perform a run of shows on Broadway - because, at 92, he's too old.
He explains, "Frankly, I don’t think I can do it. I could never do a 90-minute show eight times a week."
