DOUGLAS GLAD WORLD GETS TO SEE A SOFTER ZETA-JONES
Actor MICHAEL DOUGLAS is pleased his wife CATHERINE ZETA-JONES has taken on her latest role in romantic comedy NO RESERVATIONS - because he wants the world to see her softer side.
Zeta-Jones is best known for her parts as strong-headed, tough women in movies including Traffic, Ocean's Twelve and The Mask Of Zorro, and Douglas was worried people would never really get to know his wife, as he does.
No Reservations director Scott Hicks says, "Michael told me, 'I'm so happy you're doing this film. You'll help show people what a lovely person Catherine is.'
"Often her characters have a tougher edge to them, and people mistake that for her, and it's quite wrong."
