DOUBLE TROUBLE FOR COSTELLO AND KRALL
Elvis Costello and wife Diana Krall have said they are "ecstatic" by the birth of two baby twins in New York on Wednesday.
The couple, who celebrated their third wedding anniversary on the day of their children's birth, issued a statement explaining that both mother and her children were doing well following the birth.
Dexter Henry Lorcan and Frank Harlan James are the first children of the musical marriage between the two singers. Costello, 52, has a grown-up son, Matthew, but Krall, ten years his junior, had yet to have children.
It seems virtually inevitable that the boys will grow up singing through their ears, for between them Costello and Krall have a very impressive back catalogue of over 20 studio albums.
The genetic disposition within the pop family is an ongoing theme – Krall has already admitted that she was unsurprised by having twins because, so she says, they run in the family.
Elvis' Army just got bigger.
