DON JOHNSON TO RING IN 2007 WITH GUYS + DOLLS

Former MIAMI VICE star DON JOHNSON is set to show off his song and dance skills by following PATRICK SWAYZE's lead on the London stage. The actor is an unlikely choice to play NATHAN DETROIT in the hit London revival of GUYS + DOLLS. The musical marks Johnson's West End debut. He will join the production in January (07). Swayze, who is currently wowing London crowds in the role, will leave the production this weekend (25NOV06). Johnson isn't a theatre novice - he trained at San Francisco's American Conservatory Theatre and has also enjoyed success as a pop star when the Miami Vice TV series was a big hit in the 1980s.
