DOM DELUISE DEAD AT 75

Actor-comedian Dom DeLuise -- who also became popular as a cookbook author -- died Monday following a long illness, his son Michael said Tuesday. He was 75. The nature of his illness was not disclosed. Burt Reynolds, with whom DeLuise appeared in numerous films, said in a statement "As you get older and start to lose people you love, you think about it more, and I was dreading this moment. Dom always made you feel better when he was around, and there will never be another like him. I never heard him say an unkind word about anyone. I will miss him very much."
