DOHERTY WROTE TO WINEHOUSE'S HUSBAND

PETE DOHERTY has written to AMY WINEHOUSE's incarcerated husband BLAKE FIELDER-CIVIL - to assure him he has had no romantic involvement with his singer wife.
The Babyshambles frontman wrote the letter after worrying that pictures of himself and the Rehab hitmaker in the press would cause Fielder-Civil to suspect they were conducting an affair.
He recalls, "I said, 'Blake, mate, I love the pair of you. I've no interest in Amy like that. I hope you know.'
"He wrote back saying, 'Don't listen to what people say. I know it's not true and you'd rather be banged up here so you could s*** me.'"
Blake Fielder-Civil is currently behind bars after being convicted on charges of grievous bodily harm (GBH) and perverting the course of justice.
