DOHERTY REFUTES BURGLARY REPORTS

LATEST: Rocker PETE DOHERTY has dismissed reports his home in the English countryside has been raided by thieves, insisting the claims are false.
The troubled star - himself a previously convicted burglar - was allegedly left devastated after his Wiltshire, England house was ransacked last weekend (19-20Jul08) while Doherty was on tour in Madrid, Spain with his Babyshambles bandmates.
British tabloids reported that among the items stolen were a $2,000 (GBP1,000) guitar and three paintings Doherty had created with his own blood.
But the singer has blasted the allegations, branding the story "erroneously reported".
