DOHERTY MAY RETURN TO 90210

LATEST: SHANNEN DOHERTY would be happy to return to BEVERLY HILLS 90210 spin-off 90210 - if producers offer her more episodes.
The actress was recently reported to have walked away from the show after filming four installments as a "thank you" to her fans.
But the star now admits that she would like to become a regular guest star on the show, as long as TV bosses want her back.
Gary Mantoosh, a spokesman for Doherty, says, "Shannen signed on for four episodes, which she has shot. It was Shannen's way of thanking her fans. If the CW (TV network) comes back with an offer for additional episodes, she's happy to consider it."
A statement from TV chiefs on Friday (12Sep08) announced that bosses on the show would "love for her to do more" and there is "definitely" a possibility that Doherty could return.
Doherty's co-star, Jennie Garth, recently agreed to add another five episodes to her stint on the new show.
