DOHERTY EYES BARAT REUNION

British rocker PETE DOHERTY is pleading with his former LIBERTINES bandmate CARL BARAT to join him on the upcoming BABYSHAMBLES tour. The band are hoping Barat will play the guitar when they perform a cover of the Libertines track Time For Heroes. Bassist Drew MCConnell says, "I suggested getting Carl. But he's not going to be around. "Every time I mention collaborating Pete's always keen - he still calls him Biggles. We wanted to get him on (Babyshambles' second album) Shotter's Nation as well, but he was too busy." Babyshambles kick off their U.K tour at the MEN Arena in Manchester on 22 November (07) and finish in Glasgow, Scotland on 1 December (07).
