DOHERTY AND BARAT REUNITE ON STAGE

Former THE LIBERTINES bandmembers PETE DOHERTY and CARL BARAT were reunited onstage last night (12Apr07) for the first time in three years. The band split in 2004 after Barat became fed up with Doherty's hellraising ways, and since then they have formed their own groups - Doherty with Babyshambles, Barat with Dirty Pretty Things. However, the pair put their differences aside last night when Barat joined his old songwriting partner on stage at Doherty's second solo show in London's Hackney Empire. They played 13 Libertines songs to a delighted audience.
