DOG TRAINER DEFENDS SCHIFFER
LATEST: CLAUDIA SCHIFFER's dog trainer has jumped to the supermodel's defence after her dogs' behaviour led to police warnings - he insists the pooches are "family pets". Schiffer and her film-maker husband MATTHEW VAUGHN have received two warnings from police in Suffolk, England, after local residents complained they and their pets had been harassed or bitten by their dogs ROXY and OSCAR. Last month (SEP06), the couple were warned after their Irish wolfhound Roxy attacked a Jack Russell and their German shepherd was accused of biting a postman. However, trainer ARTHUR RIVERS says, "There's nothing wrong with the two dogs. "I bred Oscar and he wasn't trained to be aggressive. He was trained as a family pet. "Claudia's got a little boy and girl under the age of four and she wouldn't have the dogs around if there was the slightest problem with them."
