DIZZEE RASCAL SNUBS TING TINGS
Dizzee Rascal has decided to stop collaborating with other stars to concentrate on his own sound, turning down the opportunity to work with The Ting Tings and Franz Ferdinand.
Dizzee Rascal has turned down collaborations with The Ting Tings and Franz Ferdinand.
The UK rapper had phenomenal success teaming up with Calvin Harris on his single 'Dance Wiv Me', and is joined by DJ Armand Van Helden on current number one single 'Bonkers', but has now decided to focus on his developing his own sound.
He said: "There were the opportunities to work with The Ting Tings and Franz, but I decided not to go with them. My album, which will be out in September, is a total club record and it's not what people are going to expect.
"Some people make a couple of songs and then the rest of the album is filler. My album won't be like that at all - each track is something special."
Although the tracklisting for Dizzee's forthcoming album - reportedly titled 'Tongue N Cheek' - has yet to be confirmed, the rapper has revealed a handful of track titles, including 'Road Rage', 'Money Money', 'Freaky Freaky' and 'Holiday'.
Calvin Harris has also revealed in a recent post on his Twitter blog that he is producing a track which will feature on the record.
