DIZZEE RASCAL CALMS CROWD

Dizzee Rascal carried out a threat to play slow R 'n' B tracks until fighting among the crowd at Rockness festival stopped.

Dizzee Rascal played "slushy" songs to calm down a festival crowd.

The 'Bonkers' star was outraged when violence broke out between fans watching him perform at Scotland's Rockness festival this weekend and ordered his DJ to slow down their music until things settled down.

He told spectators: "What the f**k is wrong with you people? Stop fighting. This isn't the f***ing WWE wrestling.

"Every time you start fighting I'm going to put on some f***ing R 'n' B and teach your crowd a lesson."

As the DJ started playing the slower songs, the crowd obeyed Dizzee's request and he was able to continue his set.

The grime star was planning to party in style at the festival, with bottles of Hennessy whiskey, Absolut Vodka and Veuve Clicuot champagne among the items he requested for his dressing room.

Meanwhile, the 'Dance Wiv Me' singer also promised his much-discussed collaboration with dance stars The Prodigy will happen.

He said: "It would be good to do something with The Prodigy. Obviously what we would create together would be a banger."
