DIXIE CHICKS + CHESNEY LEAD CMT NOMINEES

The DIXIE CHICKS, KENNY CHESNEY, CARRIE UNDERWOOD, RASCAL FLATTS and SUGARLAND are the kings and queens of country after landing three nominations apiece for the upcoming CMT Music Awards. Fans will be able to vote for their favourite acts in a number of selected categories and the eight hopefuls currently up for each award will be reduced to four by the end of the month (28FEB07). The 2007 CMT Music Awards will be held at Nashville's Curb Event Center in Tennessee on 16 April (07).
