BETH DITTO had to duck for cover after she was involved in a brawl at a U.K. music festival at the weekend (18-19Jul09).
The Gossip singer was performing at the Latitude festival in Suffolk, England, when she was provoked by a member of the audience and a shouting match ensued, according to Britain's Daily Mirror.
The star was then forced to flee from the scene after the incensed reveller reportedly began flinging empty drink bottles in the dispute, prompting event officials to step in.
A source tells the newspaper, "It was mayhem for half an hour until 10 security guards waded in."
