Burlesque star Dita von Teese took photos of eggcups on a flight from Paris to Los Angeles because she is ''in love'' with them.

Dita von Teese is "obsessed" with eggcups.

The 36-year-old burlesque star is so "fascinated" by the small porcelain cups, she even took photos of some while eating breakfast on a flight from Paris to Los Angeles.

Dita then posted the images on her Twitter account, writing: "You may not all know about my egg cup fascination. I collect them, I love Victorian ones! The most elegant way to have breakfast, no?

"I love Air France for making soft boiled eggs to perfection and little toast points to go with them."

It's not the first time Dita has admitted to a bizarre obsession.

Earlier this year, she professed her love for dirndls - dresses traditionally worn by peasants in the Alps of Germany, Austria and Liechtenstein.

The brunette beauty - who was previously married to Marilyn Manson - wrote: "Yes, I really am going to wear my dirndl to the 'Sound of Music' fan tour. I'm obsessed. I can't be stopped! I may throw out all my other clothes."
