DISNEY RIVALS GO BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD
A team of former Disney animators are going back to the drawing board and using hand-drawn images to compete with Disney's digital animations. The designers have set up new company Miracle studios to battle the might of Disney and its computer-driven animation. TOM HIGNITE one of the founders of the company says, "The advantage of hand drawn imagery is that it looks more human, more artistic. The human touch is so evident. His colleague TROY GUSTAFSON adds, "It's a talent. It's a skill. Once it's gone, it's gone."
