'Year One' actor Jack Black used to be ''wild'' until he had children with his wife Tanya Haden.

Jack Black says having a family has tamed him.

The 'Year One' actor - who has two sons, Samuel, three, and 13-month-old Thomas, with wife Tanya Haden - admits he used to be quite "wild" but no longer has the desire to behave badly.

He said: "The wild man is almost completely tamed. He ran in the fields freely for so long. The wild man is satisfied, so I've domesticated myself. He's happy curling himself into a warm bundle by the fire."

Despite being a happily married father-of-two, Jack's career is still very important to him and has revealed plans to revive his band, Tenacious D.

He added to Britain's Zoo magazine: "There's a new album in our minds, but we're yet to put it down on tape. When we're done with the projects we're working on, we'll put our nose to the grindstone every day - I guarantee you. At least two hours a day. I can tell you the names of some of the songs we've been working on - 'Dethstarr', spelled differently to avoid a lawsuit. It's epic. It starts as a space ballad, then goes to very, very hard rock. Then back to spacey ballad again. And then there's 'Quantum Leap', which is about people who push humanity forward with their genius."
