DIRTY DANCING MUSICAL SET FOR CHICAGO

The stage musical version of DIRTY DANCING will arrive in the U.S. next year (08). The musical production of the cult 1987 movie, which starred Patrick Swayze, opened in Australia in 2004 and has gone on to wow audiences in London and Hamburg, Germany. Now officials have confirmed Dirty Dancing will open at the Cadillac Palace Theatre in Chicago, Illinois on 2 September 2008. Nobody has been cast in the production yet.
