DIRECTOR THOUGHT BALE WAS NARCOLEPTIC
Movie star CHRISTIAN BALE spent so much time sleeping between takes on the set of new western 3:10 TO YUMA director JAMES MANGOLD feared he was working with a narcoleptic.
Bale eventually explained that was his method of preparing for the next scene.
Mangold says, "(Bale) would be in the corner somewhere, with his eyes closed and his head propped on a set piece. Sometimes he'd fall asleep.
"You'd almost think he's narcoleptic. But, in reality, I think it's a way he stays focused."
