DIPLOMATS AFFILIATE CAPTURED BY COPS ON MURDER CHARGE
An associate of rap crew THE DIPLOMATS has been caught by police in New Jersey after three years on the run from murder charges.
Carlos Thompson, an affiliate of Cam'ron and Jim Jones' group, was arrested in Sayreville on Friday (15May09) after authorities were tipped off about his whereabouts.
Thompson has been on the New York Police Department's hitlist since 2007, when a warrant was issued for his arrest on allegations he gave a gun to 13-year-old L'mani Delima in 2005 and ordered the child to shoot Phoenix Garrett, 15, for selling bootleg CDs on the streets.
He had been in hiding since the warrant was issued and his case became so notorious, he was even featured on U.S. TV's America's Most Wanted last year (08).
