Late rocker 'DIMEBAG' DARRELL ABBOTT is to be honoured with a star on Hard Rock Cafe's Walk of Fame in Dallas, Texas. The former PANTERA star was gunned down while on stage with his band DAMAGEPLAN in December 2004 during a performance in Columbus, Ohio. Gunman NATHAN GALE shot Abbott five times and killed three other people. The posthumous ceremony will be held on Thursday (09NOV06) with the honour to be accepted by Abbott's brother, Pantera drummer VINNIE PAUL, and lifelong partner RITA HANEY.
