DIDO SPARKS CONTROVERSY WITH IRA TRACK

Singer DIDO has come under fire after including part of a protest song once used by terrorist organisation the Irish Republican Army's (IRA) on her latest album.
The hitmaker, born to an Irish father, has included a verse from The Men Behind The Wire, a song which was originally linked to the Irish Republican Army (IRA), and is now associated with illegal terrorist organisations such as the Real Irish Republican Army.
Northern Irish politician Gregory Campbell says, "Given her Irish roots, it is inconceivable that she doesn't know the background of the wording.
"She must know it was written about people who were murderers, arsonists and terrorists."

Mr Campbell, given his Irish roots, should know that some felt the murderers, arsonists and terrorists were the ones outside the wire.
