DIDO DEDICATES SONG TO LATE DAD

Pop star DIDO has dedicated a song on her new album to her late father.
The Thank You singer penned the track Grafton Street from her upcoming LP Safe Trip Home in memory of her dad William, who died in 2006, aged 68 from lupus, a disease of the immune system.
And Dido admits the loss hit her hard.
She says, "Him dying was huge. I was so close to him. I got to be with him and I was glad about that."
But she regrets not completing her third album sooner for him to hear her new tracks.
She adds, "He was around to hear some of it. It's gutting I can't play him the whole album."
