DIDO CLAIMS TOP EUROPEAN ALBUM
Singer DIDO has made her mark on the European album charts - her LP SAFE TRIP HOME has stormed to number one in its first week of release.
The British singer's third studio album has ended rockers AC DC's reign at the top, with their record Black Ice now sitting at number two after four weeks in pole position.
Nickelback scraped into the top five with their new offering, Dark Horse, charting behind Enya's Christmas release And Winter Came at three, and Il Divo's The Promise, which is in fourth place for the second week running.
Meanwhile, in the European singles chart, R+B queen Beyonce Knowles' If I Were A Boy claimed the top spot, pushing Guru Josh Project's Infinity 2008 down to two.
Katy Perry's Hot N Cold takes third place, with the top five rounded out by Britney Spears' Womanizer and Pink's So What.
