Rap mogul SEAN COMBS has brushed off the loss of a $20,000 (£13,335) ring, joking he "didn't like" the jewellery anyway.
The hip-hop star made an appearance with his Dirty Money bandmates on TV chart show 106 & Park on America's BET network last Tuesday (13Oct09).
But the visit was marred when he accidentally flung his pricey ring into the crowd as he threw bundles of cash into the air while making his studio entrance.
Fans were placed on lockdown as they were searched for the missing jewellery but the ring was nowhere to be found.
Combs took to his Twitter.com blog to fume about the incident, writing, "The craziest s**t just happened to me... I guess it's s**ting on me season... Enjoy it while it lasts!!! life is crazy!"
However, the rapper insists he is unfazed by the loss.
In a post online, he writes, "A lot of people askin (sic) about a ring I lost. Yes I did. And that's OK. I lose things too. You win some you lose some My loss is anothers (sic) gain. It's OK to lose things because it makes you appreciate what you still have! I didn't like that ring anyway!"
