DICK'S ALCOHOL BRACELET SINGALONG

ANDY DICK gave American TV audiences a holiday treat - when he sang an original song on air about his alcohol monitoring bracelet.
He struck a deal to wear the device after pleading guilty to two misdemeanour charges of battery and marijuana possession in a California court in October (08) - ensuring charges of public intoxication and possession of anti-anxiety drug Xanax without a prescription were dropped.
The accusations all stem from the 42-year-old's arrest outside a restaurant in Murrieta, California in July (08) - after he allegedly exposed a 17-year-old girl's breasts.
When police searched the comedian, they found marijuana and Xanax.
Sexual battery charges were dropped back in August (08).
Making light of his new accessory, DICk was joined by a pair of Blues Brothers-inspired guitar players who strummed along during a segment on daytime chat show The View on Monday (22Dec08).
He sang, "I can't drink in the city of Riverside/Come to think of it ladies I can't drink anywhere legally, Lord knows I've tried/They're keeping a brother down/I'm fibre optically tethered to the ground
"I got my holiday gift a little early from Uncle Sam/You know that red, white and blue cracker/He don't give a damn/He strapped it around my shin/It's not like it's constraining."
