DICK: 'I TAKE BREAKS FROM DRUGS'

Comedian ANDY DICK has no plans to quit using drugs - he just takes "breaks" from consuming them all the time. During an appearance on US chat show Jimmy Kimmel Live last night (02May07), DICk was quizzed about a photo in American magazine the National Enquirer which shows the 41-year-old appearing to take cocaine. But a joking DICk was more concerned with the poor quality of the picture than its contents. He said, "I will take breaks (from doing drugs). There are some drugs that are medicinal and I am very sick. I'll take breaks but I've come to grips with the fact that drugs and alcohol do help if you use them responsibly." A more serious DICk added, "Cocaine should never be used, actually."
