DICAPRIO DREAMED OF WORKING WITH SCORSESE
LEONARDO DiCAPRIO always dreamed of working with acclaimed movie director MARTIN SCORSESE, ever since he was a teen actor trying to make it in Hollywood. The Oscar-nominated star has made three films to date with Scorsese: GANGS OF NEW YORK, THE AVIATOR, and their new release, THE DEPARTED. The 31-year-old TITANIC star recalls, "I first became aware of Marty's work when I worked with ROBERT DE NIRO on THIS BOY'S LIFE. "I watched all these amazing films they'd made together - MEAN STREETS, TAXI DRIVER, RAGING BULL, GOODFELLAS - and I was blown away. "If you'd asked me when I was 16 who I most wanted to work with, it was Marty."
