CAMERON DIAZ can't wait to unveil the 2,386th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday (22Jun09) - because she likes the idea of people walking all over her.
Speaking before the ceremony, which has just begun in Hollywood, the actress insists she's more excited than most who land the pavement honour.
She tells The Hollywood Reporter, "It will be cool to be under people's feet.
"It really is the place where people can understand exactly that actors are not really stars - they don't exist in the sky, they exist on the ground just like everybody else."
Diaz's star can be found right outside the Egyptian Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard.
