DIANA'S NANNY LETTERS TO GO UNDER THE HAMMER
Letters and cards tragic British royal PRINCESS DIANA sent to her former nanny are to be auctioned off in London.
The candid correspondence to Mary Clarke features the revelation that Diana tried to set her then-future husband Prince Charles up with her older sister, Sarah.
In another letter to Clarke, written six months after she accepted Charles' marriage proposal, Diana admitted, "Six months of being engaged is quite something and definitely to be avoided!"
The four letters and two cards also detail her bout of morning sickness when she was pregnant with Prince William.
One of the letters was written when Diana was just 17.
Officials at auction house Reeman Dansie expect the correspondence to go under the hammer for up to $18,000 (GBP9,700) on Tuesday (30Sep08).
Princess Diana, her friend Dodi Fayed and their driver died in a car crash in Paris, France in 1997.
