DIANA CRASH LIMO WANTED TO SELL FOR MILLIONS

The owner of the car in which DIANA, PRINCESS OF WALES, died is launching legal proceedings to get the wreckage back - so he can sell it for millions. Frenchman JEAN FRANCOIS MUSA wants the mangled limousine returned to his country and is claiming compensation for the nine years the vehicle has been held in the UK to aid the police investigation into the tragic crash, which killed Diana, Princess Of Wales and Harrods' boss, MOHAMED AL FAYED's son, DODI, in August 1997. Musa, whose company Etoile Limousines rented the car to al Fayed, says, "It is an exceptional wreck - like the one JAMES DEAN died in. We were told it was worth at least GBP1 million ($1.97 million). It belongs to us. "At first I was thinking it should have been given to Mohamed al Fayed because his son, Dodi, died in it. Then I thought maybe it should be put in a museum. Now I want to sell it. We've been told a lot of people would pay a fortune for that wreck. He adds, "We have never had any firm inquiries about it, but people have spoken to me about how much it could be worth."
